I've generated the templates early this year, no particular reason, I'm not making my calendars yet. See last year's post for an example.
The templates are available in psd (modifiable, everything is on layers) and jpg format.
I've been experimenting with software for making Audio Visual presentations, here are some of my findings. For our purposes an AV is a sequence of mostly still images with a soundtrack comprising of music and (optionally) the spoken word.
For years I have use PTE AV Studio, which is the established default option. The downside of PTE is cost, it has become expensive enough that the casual AV producer would think twice about using it. There are other options, mostly from the video editor world.
It's the time of year when I create a calendar to give to friends as a Christmas present. I use a heavily modified version of a Photoshop ActionScript created by Jeffry Friedl. The original is here. My templates include UK holidays.

Almost everyone photographs the huts made from upturned boats when they visit Holy Island. The challenge is to make something different. Generally I'm not a fan of digital effects plugins, but sometimes one of them works, and I rather like the Topaz Studio Swirly Strokes II look.
I am exhibiting at the Bognor Regis Camera Club summer exhibition from 1-6 August 2022 at The Regis School of Music.
A couple of us headed down to Climping beach, we knew that it would be wet, it turned out to be very wet. There's no such thing as bad weather for photography, and had we been better prepared on the clothing front then we would have stayed longer. The wet brings out colours, so the seaweed was very green.
I visited Chatsworth where "Radical Horizons: The Art of Burning Man at Chatsworth" is on display until October 2022. They have some monumental scupltures from the Burning Man festival. It's well worth a visit.
When originally displayed these art works were more interactive and, sadly, have lost some their orignal dynamic behaviours.
