Branch Pattern

A framed print, frame size 600mm by 800mm, print approximately 410mm x 574mm.

An infrared photograph made in the Aston Rowant Nature Reserve which is situated next to the M40 cutting which descends towards Oxford. It's shot with the camera pointing straight up into the trees in order to catch the dark pattern of the branches within layers of white leaves.

Chlorophyl strongly reflects infrared light and so foliage is rendered white.
